Warning: Generally, firmware updates are not recommended. All products are pre-installed with a stable version. Please only perform an update if you encounter serious issues such as device freezes or non-responsiveness. If performed incorrectly, a firmware update can result in a completely non-functional device.

Prerequisites

• Operating System: Windows only.

• Data Cable: TPC03 (Included in the box. If lost, purchase here).
  

Step 1: Preparation

1. Download the Upgrade Tool: VHAM_UT.zip

2. Identify Your Hardware Version: Check the label on your device (under the barcode). Look for the code format: N39P-B33E**P16.

   • E28: Asian Version

   • E29: American Version

   • E30: European Version

3. Download Firmware: Download the specific file matching your hardware version from vham.net/download/.

Step 2: Upgrade Process

1. Launch the VHAM Upgrade Tool on your PC.

2. Select Firmware: Click to browse and select the correct firmware file you downloaded.

3. Connect Device: Plug the TPC03 data cable into the device and the PC.

4. Power On: Turn on the device. The tool will automatically detect the device and begin the upgrade.

5. Wait for Completion: A progress bar will appear on your screen.

   • CRITICAL: Do NOT disconnect the cable or power off the device until the progress bar reaches 100%.

6. Finish: Once it reaches 100%, wait for 2 seconds before unplugging the data cable.

Step 3: Verification

The device should reboot automatically. If it does not, toggle the power switch off and on again. To verify the update, go to: Menu > About > Software Info and check the version number.
